          Since opening in 1992 with just a handful of positions, our program has grown into a robust, three-year ACGME-accredited training experience. What sets us apart is our dedicated faculty, tight-knit resident team, and the high-acuity, high-volume patient population we serve. Together, these elements create one of the premier Emergency Medicine training programs in the country.

          I strongly encourage you to spend time in the emergency department of any program you’re considering—even if just for a day. While schedules can be demanding, this firsthand experience will help you gauge the program’s culture, interact with residents and faculty in a relaxed setting, and determine if it’s the right fit for you. It also demonstrates your genuine interest to the program.
